Point of view in "The Odyssey"Written by: ApolloSince i am the son of Zeus, i have heard much about Odysseus from my father, and the other gods. I personally have no problem with Odysseus and think he is a good man. He hasn't really done anything to hurt or upset me so i won't hold a grudge for no reason. I have heard many tales about my father and the other gods have kept him from his home.I also heard how he blinded Polyphemus, the mighty cyclops, and how his men ate the cattle of Helios. Helios was very upset when this happened. I know that he loved his prized cattle deeply.I have watched Odysseus over these past 20 years with great interest. He has so much determination to get home. He even tries as hard as he can to get his men home too. Even though he knows this impossible, because their fate is already decided. |
